As we wrapped up our chapter on French cafés and foods this week, the students have been working on creating their own cafés and menus using our vocabulary. We also role played being in the café and ordering off each other's menus. Some students brought food items from their menu to share!
Madame Frisillo even tried her hand at making crêpes...mmmmm, Nutellea :)
6th and 8th grade French students presented their projects on French culture. They were given the option to research and and present on a French artist or architect, a French-speaking country outside of France, or to plan an imaginary trip to a French-speaking country. We all learned a lot from our classmates!
Using a recent viral video as their inspiration, Jacob and Vivi recorded and edited a video. They changed their lyrics into French and included them as subtitles in the video.
Students in 6th grade French are learning to conjugate present tense regular verbs ending in -ER. To help them remember that the je, tu, il/elle/on and ils/elles forms are all pronounced the same, we practiced drawing them in the form of a boot.
Joyeux Halloween à tous! Today, we learned about body parts with the help of the song "Tête, Epaules, Genoux et Pieds(Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes)", then created some skeletons using our new vocabulary!
